I got a great e-mail yesterday from Elitre, a new friend from Siena, Italy. He's obsessed with the Palio, a mad horse race that's held there every year. He referred me to his site which I'm sure is fascinating, but I can't speak Italian.

Anyway, back to my search for Culinary Arts courses: I've trecked back to Tuscany (they're so nice there) and dug up this little nugget from Good Tastes of Tuscany. I love the look of their gastronomic courses and if I can persuade my wife, we might be heading over to Siena fairly soon:

"This culinary program has been designed for lovers of Tuscany and all that it represents – the charming medieval towns, the centuires old traditions, the people and their culture, the art and of course, the great food and wine!!"

We have spent time with our chefs to create a week dedicated to the secrets and traditions of Tuscan cookery and participants will spend many hands on hours perfecting the skills of Tuscan cooking in our original kitchen of the 14th century 'Villa Pandolfini'.
